Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I'm not the best at keeping up with my blog and it seems a little crazy for me to think that I will post a catch up post.. I'm not great with words and so much has happened between then and now.. Too overwhelming!

I've known Alan for a long time now...my daughter had the biggest crush on him when she was in preschool.. It was pretty funny to watch! She (now 15) doesn't think it's so funny! hee hee

Seeing him now with a family of his own is amazing. I'm thankful for the opportunity to capture some fun moments! I hope you enjoy!

Meet Brit.. The bravest person I know.

She’s only 15 years old now but she is fearless, determined, strong willed, outgoing and courageous. Ever since she was a little girl I’ve always said her life theme song was from the Mia Hamm & Michael Jordan Commercial with the music playing in the background of .. anything you can do I can do better. I’m so proud of her and I am enjoying the journey of watching her growing into a beautiful young woman.

New addition!

We got home from the river on Sunday evening. The weekend was really nice. The weather wasn't too hot, the water wasn't too cold, there wasn't a crowd of people...it was nice. I didn't take any pictures, it was just a weekend to relax. The boys went fishing a few times a day...we soaked up a little sun and jumped off the point to cool off from time to time.

Monday came around and we picked up this little guy while the kids were at school. We haven't named him yet, just waiting to see some of his personality to find a name that fits. He's 8 weeks old and a little more the 8 pounds. He's a sweet little fellow...

Mini vacation

Looking forward to getting out of town for a few days with the family. The weather is suppose to be nice.. so I might get the opportunity to relax in the sun! Hope you have a great weekend!!

Okay I've totally blown my 30 day challenge, but in my defence, I was over the top excited to complete these photos, I couldn't do anything else. It was such a fun session.. I was a little worried that the HOT weather that day was going to make for a fussy family! But oh my! was I wrong! They were easy going .. down for whatever.. and ready to have some fun! Caitlyn is such a fun spunky lil' girl!! I just wanted to take her home with me!! Here are a few from the day. Enjoy!!

30 day challenge

I can't believe my first post was back in May and I haven't posted anything since then! I'm not starting off on the right foot. I've done so many things since my first post.. and I'm going to try my best to post something every day for the next 30 days! It's suppose to take 30 days before it becomes a habit!! Oh boy.. now that I've said it out loud.. give me the strength to make it happen..
